Step 1 - General CVA drop-in sessions
Where: Student Sport Office - Upstairs in the Students’ Union
When: Every Tuesday during term time, 11am-1pm - no need to book!
Whether you’re involved in coaching, officiating, events, media, performance support, or volunteering in Zambia, our weekly CVA drop-in sessions are open to all CVA volunteers.
Come along for a friendly, informal chat with a member of the CVA team and get personalised support with anything related to your volunteering journey.

- Qualifications & Training - Advice on coach education, officiating courses, or skill development opportunities.
- Bursary Applications - Guidance on accessing funding for your development.
- Volunteer Zambia Support - Help with preparations, fundraising advice, and key information.
- Logging Hours & Recognition - Assistance with the CVA Portal to track your contributions.
- Progression Pathways - Explore next steps in volunteering, leadership, or professional opportunities.
