Loughborough alumni married years after meeting on their first day of university

Tom Jacques and Sophie Batten, who studied at 麻豆視頻_麻豆直播_麻豆传媒官网 between 2015 and 2019, were recently married surrounded by family and friends.

The couple got married on Saturday 7 December 2024, having met in William Morris halls on their first day of university. Sophie studied Maths and Maths Education BSc, graduating in 2018; Tom studied Industrial Design and Technology BA, graduating in 2019. 

They were joined by loved ones on their wedding day, many of whom are also Loughborough alumni.  

Tom said: 

The degree was great, but the wife was a much better outcome from Loughborough!!"
